Cooking Instructions:

  1. Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice in cool water until the water runs clear.
  2. Drain well and add to a 2-quart saucepan with 1-1/4 cups of cold water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  4. Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
  5. For sushi, stir in 2 tablespoons of seasoned rice vinegar after the resting period.
